So Funny, Worth Posting Again

Posted before, today a comment reminds me of the story my mother told of my birth.
She said I was late, (by weeks), born on the hottest day of the year.
It was so hot, they moved her to the hospital's basement where it was "cooler.
Bless her heart she didn't use the word "morgue."

😂

That function has been there since i started blogging in 2008. I used to use it to follow other people's blogs via a feed. Then yahoo stopped servicing the feeds so I stopped.

Is it your birthday today? Well if so, happy birthday, and I hope you have a joyful day filled with all the things you love. This Cross is beautiful. It looks like emerald, which is my birthstone. : )

Thank you, Liz
My observation skill needs work. :)

Sheri,
Thank you. No birthday today. August though. :)
The stone is a synthetic peridot. It has a yellow tone with a value, depth that's always light. Emeralds have a blue aqua tone. and range from a darker green to an emerald aqua. Gorgeous stone.

Happy birthday month! We have a lot of family birthdays too. That's a funny story. Mine is....the hospital I was born in is a mental health institution now...if you know what I mean! I keep thinking of other names to call it but they wouldn't be politically correct. lol

Diane,
A retreat facility sounds nice.
Being born in unique settings can be a source of a laugh now and then. :)

And you warmed up her days with cooing and cuddles!

Marie,
Cooing is quite an image to imagine myself being a baby. We all were once. :)

I just hope I don't end up at this 'retreat facility' at the end of my days! hahahaha!

You and me both, Diane
I want to live at home in my final years.

Happy Birth Month (after all, shouldn't we be allowed to celebrate the whole month??).
Being born in the 'cooler' spot - I don't suppose too many people can add that one to their resume!

Born in the morgue? At least the other patients would be quiet.

True. Mom could yell, but not well enough to wake the dead.
Probably there was a space with shared cool air nearby the slab room. I imagine a room full of spirits fighting over who could return to life via the new air breather. lol. I am grateful they all lost.

But being born in a morgue would make for a great story! You could go out to dinner on that one for many meals!

Jeanie,
There is a story idea written down about my birth in my files. Thank you. This summer might be a good time to work on it. :)

Nowadays, with so many on the Internet, it is best to have a copyright, original idea with your name on it before somebody uses it as their own. I've seen that happen more than once.
