Bye June, Hello July

Sunset Sunshine

After a rainfall, the sun shines on the tree tops against a stormy blue sky.

Good bye to the June that arrived so soon, and leaves the same way.

This juncture between Summer the hatchling ready to fly into July, is a good time to check old accounts, clear out unused email addresses, change passwords, update security settings and such.
My blogs I follow list has been reduced by a dozen or so blogs that no longer posts, never comment, and/or I no longer read. Also, old email addresses are checked. Before deleting them, I make sure they aren't attached as back-up to a website.

In the process  I encountered glitches:

Logging on Facebook (and I think Instagram), the browser switches to the Edge browser without my permission (?). After reading about the problem online, I try, but gain no understanding how that happens. I decide to uninstall Edge. Problem gone.

A mystery to add to the Universe: Why after the question is clear, includes the particulars, does tech help ask for the information already given?

Instagram appears to be back to rejecting passwords. Or maybe it is just me. I write down passwords with date it is created. I am on the 2nd or 3rd password reset on Instagram. Days after the last reset, and log in, that password is rejected.

Hello July
Prayers for Peace

The sunlight on the trees is lovely. I don't seem to have the energy to post on my blog lately. After a day on the computer at work I generally want to get away from a computer screen.

Loree,
Being on a computer is tiring. I hope you take regular stretch breaks. Sitting isn't good for circulation, as you probably know.

Good to see you posting any time :)

Latane,
A new month is a good reminder marker to change passwords and such. Sweep out the old to welcome the new

Never have succumbed to the so-called charms of Instagram and the like. I do have a very limited presence on Facebook but that's only because it's where my kids post pictures and we use it for video chats. If it weren't for that I wouldn't bother with it.

Both Instagram and Facebook lost their appeal years ago. I think lots of folks use them like you do.

You're right, it's a month of clearing out things. There are many blogs that I follow, and they don't post anymore. I'm wondering if they will get back to it at some point. Once in awhile, I'll go on a blog, and they have a blog on their side bar, and it's been 5 years since they posted. I can't imagine keeping that up, but everyone's different. ; )

Wishing you good July days.

Sheri,
It is a mystery why blogs stop without an explanation. Staying on the follow list might be for the good information the old blog has.
I leave some blogs, delete others after a year or so because the blog has interest. :)

Happy 4th of July!
