Cirrus Whatisitus May 2022 |
The 5 species of cirrus clouds aside, I believe the best name for the odd cirrus formation (I think) in my photo is: Cirrus Whatisitus
It represents the moment you enter a room, and stop short asking yourself aloud, "What did I come in here for?"

Lol. Good one!
Maybe that image will help remember!
Great shot of the cloud ~ Xo

Maywyn what a truly unusual cloud. Almost looks like a whale to me. I enjoy seeing what certain clouds appear to be like. Very fun and inspiring. Hope you are having a super day. Hugs!
Hello Marie, Liz, Carol, and Debbie
The cloud commanded attention. I am sure there is a scientific explanation for it. But, it won't make that cloud formation any less weird. If I was a cloud, then that one would be me.
I love it! It should be on the weather channel...with this scientific name of course!
Oh dear, I had one of those moments today-what did I come in this room for-
Your cloud looks friendly though!
Interesting cloud for sure.
As for the entering a room and then wondering why - we call that 'living in the hereafter' (in other words - what am I here after?)
Charming. I love that.
Hello Diane, Debra, Maryanne and Tabor
If I ever see a such a cloud again, then I'll try to take a photo from another location.
Very fitting!
William,
The cloud was a fun picture to take. :)
LOVE it! What a great name!
Jeanie,
Some day I hope to see another odd cloud. :)
Looks like angel wings. Very pretty photo.

Sheri, It does look like an angel wing. Must be shedding into new ones.
