Jetty Pals, Lake Champlain at the Crown Point Historic Area
The lake water levels, with all the rain this summer, has been high. I remember the jetty not being in so much water. Is that why a tree's leaves are turning, too much water? Could it be that fall is trying to arrive early?

  1. Beautiful pic Maywyn...we have had lots of rain here too and some of our leaves are beginning to change color and drop. Hope summer lasts a bit longer...I am not ready for autumn just yet. Hugs!

  2. We've had a lot of rain over the spring and summer here too. The whole of the Great Lakes basin has been that way.

    1. Hello William,
I notice today the creek level, that flows into Lake Champlain, is higher as well.
