  2. I love white oak and although there is quite a lot in my area, I have none on my little piece of land. Unless there are youngsters and I haven't seen them yet...it could happen :)

      This time of year when yards are getting cleaned up, I think maybe an arborist or landscaper might be a source for one being pulled out or not chopped down, sapling size you can rescue. Might be worth a call.

      I don't recall having photos of those tree if full summer bloom. It will be interesting seeing them in another way besides autumn.
