Nice images - that viburnum is gorgeous! Do you think it's a young robin? It just looks like a youngster to me.And your lamp is very magical indeed :)
Hi Quinn,Thank you. I think its a nesting robin. There's a lot of chirping from the trees in that area. I don't recall seeing a robin hang out in one favorite spot like that unless there's a nest around. It must be a good bug spot as well. I've seen her quickly jumping and digging in. Unfortunately, all the bugs on and near my deck attract bug eating birds, and I'm sure she's one of them. As I stepped out to the deck, a chickadee in mid flight screeches to a halt before the thin clothesline with wings fluttering madly before it flies off. I spent time taking photos of a strange white substance on a marigold petal the other day for a special duh on me moment after downloading the pictures...its bird crap. lolHave a fun week-end!
Dear Maywyn wonderful photos of the lovely things that June brings. Your solar night light does make the flowers magical. Have a great week. Hugs!
Hi Debbie,A great week to you with hugs! This summer is turning out to be one of bugs after bugs, and birds after bugs. The little solar lights were on sale for less than two bills. They don't give off much light, just enough to add the magic.Have a fun week-end!
Solar lights create such a lovely, magical feel in a garden. I need to change ours because they're not lighting up anymore.
Hi Loree,The solar light battery mechanism thing, I believe, isn't made to last very long. The plastic panes on the inexpensive ones I'm using are already rather scratched up. There are so many attractive ones to chose from, changing them out on the bright side can be fun.
