Farewell Super Moon

The Super Moon was last Friday night Saturday morning. Thus, this 31 August 2015 Moon is farther away from Earth. Alas, without the cloud cover that was here on Saturday, photos are taken at 4:51 AM Eastern Time, from the ground at 44.1656º N, 73.2252º W.

Unlike the last Moon photo shoot, this time I used bug repellent before I went outdoors.

Have a Fantastic Monday!

  1. Nice snap!
And yes, timing is SO important with bugspray. I'm loving these cooler nights and mornings, partly because I can delay or even skip spraying the goats (and myself).

  2. Hi Quinn,
Your goat photos the other day make me laugh when I just think about them.
    Have a fantastic bugless week!

    1. Hi Tanya,
You and me both. I checked for bites when I came in just in case.
      Have a great week!

  4. I am so glad you were able to capture the moon so beautifully. I was out at 3.00a.m. today and enjoyed seeing it. (Walking the dogs early has its advantages). Always love seeing your photos. Hugs

    1. Hi Debbie,
Oh, that must have been wonderful being out with the dogs that early. Its so quiet, and the moonlight is spectacular.
Thank you. I look forward to your photographs and words.
