Snow Lady 2015

Snow Lady 2015
For the last few years making a snow person to photograph has been a fun thing to do for this blogger. This year, however, the right kind of snow on the days that this snow sculptor had the energy to bundle up and get outdoors ... didn't match.
Therefore, yesterday the warmer temperature melting winter away meant making a snow person had to be done or else the chance might be lost this year.
Meet Snow Lady, a fifteen +/- foot high snow person fashioned with a coffee filter plastic jar hat, gray jersey trim scarf, natural twig buttons and smile, and sweet sunflower seed eyes.
Creating your own models to photograph makes your artwork and crafts original. Each winter you create another story.

  2. Hi Dee,
I was thinking about you and your wonderful doodles yesterday. I visited doodlersanonymous dot com thinking how relaxing drawing can be.
I went out with no coat and mismatched gloves to quickly make the snow lady. Taking the pictures is a chore because the background isn't ideal.

    1. Thank you Diana
I hope your snow is melting slowly. I enjoyed the photos of your pets looking out the windows.

  4. Dear Maywyn - She is absolutely gorgeous. What a treat. Glad you kept this tradition...but also glad that there may not be another opportunity this winter - ours is melting quickly and spring is finally showing up - hope it is for you too. Hugs

    1. Hi Debbie,
Thank you. I look forward to your spring photographs. I thought of your soup pictures watching Creat4 channel, Chef Pepin making consume on TV tonight. This week-end looks like making soup time!

    1. I see there must be a glitch with Blogspot or a touchpad. I've also had duplicate comments show up.
