Blueberry Oatmeal

Blueberry oatmeal is a favorite breakfast no matter what time of year. Today is oatmeal weather at this longitude and latitude in Vermont USA. I've posted this favorite way of having blueberry oatmeal many years ago (on another blog), but its nice to refresh.

~Stainless steel bowl...Do Not use glass, ceramic, or material that can't take hot and cold contact because the hot oatmeal and frozen blueberries can cause the material to shatter, break, crack badly

Pot holders (metal bowl can get hot)
Frozen blueberries
Regular oatmeal
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
Optional crushed walnuts, apple, nutmeg and bit of milk

Cook oatmeal in cinnamon water for the number of servings you want
Heat off, rest in covered pan to fully cook
Place about a 4th Cup of frozen blueberries in each steel bowl
Place cooked oatmeal over the blueberries to cover
Add optionals
Handle the hot steel metal bowl with pot holders or oven mittens until it cools
Give the hot oatmeal a minute or so to begin melting the blueberries before eating
